One weekend in October 2005, five guys teamed up to jam and
play some Bluegrass, just to have a good time After a while
they realized that they really had something going on, which
they wanted to develop. So they met again a few months
later. This time they all agreed to make something out of
it. The group G2 was started. These guys are determined to
play the Bluegrass and they do it in their own way.

Baker's Fabulous Boys are a Cheshire-based Bluegrass band
who, as well as playing traditional Bluegrass, also compose
our own material and take songs and tunes from other genres
and arrange them in our own unique way. Tight exciting
music, fluent flatpicking, driving bass and the most
mesmerising and truly innovative banjo work all combined to
form an absolutely riveting set.

A BAND LIKE ALICE is a bluegrass band formed in 1996. They
only play bluegrass music, mainly on the specialist British
bluegrass circuit. They like the music of Bill Monroe, Flatt
and Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers and the others who
invented bluegrass in the 1940s and 50s, and the style is
similar to the modern US bands which favour a hard-driving
approach, such as Del McCoury's band.

the Edale Bluegrass Festival. In 1996 he won the Guitar
Magazine's Acoustic Guitar Championship.

This band draw much of their material from the archives of
classic bluegrass although occasional forays into everything
from old time country to newgrass results in a repertoire of
broad appeal.
